I have come across this HPV immunization programme (to protect women against cervical cancer) from various sources before this. Not just that, there were also campaigns being launched to get the message across the ladies on the importance of this vaccination..Geee.... Even the hubs is alert about it and advised me to take the vaccine as soon. But knowing our PM has earlier announced that the Gov would allocate RM50mil for the HPV immunization during the tabling of Budget 2012 (read full news here), so I decided to wait and check if married women like me will entitle for the free vaccine or not.**kiam siap mode**For your information, private clinics are charging at least RM600 for three injections..Thanks to Alice Law when she posted at FB that she has called the clinic to check about the free vaccination. It is said that the vaccine is destine not only for 18 years old teen but also older and married women!**Means I can get it for free also!!** Hopefully there will not be many requirements set in order to get this free vaccine.
Do keep track of this website LPPKN

So good free dosage. I had it when HPV dosage is available in Malaysia. Costs me RM900 for 3 dosage. Expensive right?

ReplyDeleteEach time a new vaccine is introduced, surely there is a concern about it. for eg, flu jab..but I still let my girls take it. Prevention better than cure.
